There are many conspiracy theories regarding this matter. Many believed that NASA staged the lunar landings. What do you think?

the thing I really wanted know as a kid when it "happened" was, where were the stars? They were on the moon taking that GIANT leap for mankind but the stars were missing. With less atmosphere than here they should've been even brighter but photo and film alike show none at all. Where? Where? Where?

I heard the same exact theory and someone had a comeback. This opponent said it was due to the lighting from the cameras. I don't know how true it is, but just from word of mouth. I asked him the same thing you were wondering about too and I believe it was Richard Belzer who brought that conspiracy up in a book of his.

well the atmoshphere has no wind, so why would the american flag be waving up there? i watched a television show the discovery channel one night, and it was all about how it really did not happen.. It was said that we would have burned up before getting there.. and if it was such a great thing, why has no other country or the usa ever done it again? we shuttle all the time around outerspace, but no one gets to the moon...ponder that one.
