Do you have a fireplace in your home? Is it wood or gas burning? How many do you have? I have one wood burning and I can't stand it because it stinks up the house everything smells like soot.

No, But when i was young my grand parents had a wood stove in the house. It kept the house warm in the winter and my Grandfather would roast peanuts on the top of the stove. I know that the house didn't ever smell of soot in the house. I know that is a problem that you really don't like at all.

We don't have fireplace in my country because the climate here is warm. We only have wet and dry season or rainy and summer. We have airconditioning to keep the room cool or we have an electric fan to relieve us from the heat.

If I bought a house it would have to have a wood fireplace. I live Florida and don't really need one, but I'd want one for atmosphere. I love wood fireplaces.

I have one fireplace and it was wood burning when we bought our house but we switched it over to gas burning because our son had asthma
