Are you doing genealogy? isn't it fun and frustrating all at the same time. O how I wished I had asked more about my folks and their families. Love to hear about your experiences.

I have been doing my genealogy for about 15 years and like you I wished I had asked the questions when I could have. Most of my family on my dad's side is from Virginia and my mom's in Tennessee. Fortunately, there are still quite a few in VA and about 10 years ago I went on a road trip through TN and up to VA and got to see my gggrandfather's home and all the different gravesites.

How luck you are to have been able to travel and see where your folks came from. My husband has been able to do that but I haven't. If I can help you in your genealogy search let me know, we have done this for quite a few people.

Yes it was a very fun trip and am looking forward to doing it again someday. The same goes here if you ever need any help just give me a shout. I live in the Dallas area so libaries have a lot of stuff in them here. Also maybe can give you a website if you get stuck that might help.
