My daughter helped me make some cheesy biscuits to go with dinner tonight. I got to use up some of the bran flakes we had to make them and she had a blast helping stir the ingredients up. After we were done she went over and grabbed a cook book and said, "Cook" and started flipping through it. She is really getting into the cooking thing today. To make this a discussion, did you know you could make biscuits with crushed up bran flakes? I found the recipe on the box of cereal.

I don't think I did know that. I like looking at recipes on cereal boxes and other items that contain tips on how to use their products. I think it is really cool you are involving her in cooking already. I remember when my sister and I were little my mom bought us our own little children's cookbooks. I still have mine.

I like to make the recipes on the side of the packages. You it has to be good or it would not be on the box. I had a cookbook when I was a kid. I think my mom still has it somewhere.
