About Rainy Days

Hi there Miss Honey... I find rainy seasons here in the Philippines bad. There's flood with floating garbages, disasters on provinces and other places and getting wet when going to school... I love the rain but I hate too much rain like this few days... By the way, i have this terrible experience about rainy season just last JULY 16 (it was wednesday), I was about to go out of the Bus when a the heavy rained poured, sad to say i have to walk a bit long distance to reach a waiting shed... That was really terrible, going inside my classroom with super wet pants and jacket... I hate it 'coz our rooms airconditioned... Rainy days are not so fine...

I like glommy days but I hate rain! I can't help myself singing "Rain, Rain, Rain Go Away. Come again, another day...", when it rains. It's because I don't have a car and I need to ride a jeepney going to work. You just don't have any idea, how to commute on rainy days. WheW!

I like Rainy Days and Mondays too. There is a version by Paul Williams who I think wrote that song, I'm not sure. Paul Williams wrote a lot of wonderful songs and he might have written this one too.

I love the rain and right now there's a storm watch over Trinidad and for the past three days there's been rainy weather with only splurts of sunshine. I think the weekend will be the same and I'm looking forward to a bedtime kind of weekend this week. Lots of coffee, a steak on Sunday, finishing reading the book I'm into, polishing my shoes, that sort of thing.

Rainy days make me feel gloomy. What I don't like about rain is, it stops you from going out coz it'll make you wet if you do. On the other hand, i like it when rains coz I could spend quality time with my son.

Oh I remember that song really well and Karen Carpenter too. She had a beautiful voice. I happen to like rainy days. Sometimes I even like to go out in the rain without my shoes and get soaked just like a little kid! Since I'm an adult no one can tell me not to! When I used to have to go to work or be somewhere I didn't always like them because I hated sitting around in my wet clothes from my commute. I love the smell of summer rain. It makes the grass and the soil smell so good. Yeah, It has it's positive and negative sides, but I think I see the mostly positive.

Well for me I like it when I am at home only but when I go to office Ii just wished it would not rain since its so hard to travel especially when you are just commuting going to work. So if it rains I welcome them if I don't have anything that I would do and just stay at home. Its a nice feeling that the rain makes everything cool and nice. But when you are traveling its a big discomfort for me.

You are right there both have positive and negative sides. I don't like much rain cause it will only cause flood here in our country I am really hoping that no more landslide happens here and flood too (So much of hope there!) Though I like to have some shower rain only. I even like to be outside when there is a shower rain it makes me feel refreshed. Another thing what I love during rainy seasons is the suspension of work and classes. There's a lot of time to rest and eat. hehehe

I work in a call center and I work nights. I hate Mondays being the first day of the week. reports, reports, reports! I hatebrainy days because I need to go to work with wet clothes. geez. however, if it is gloomy, i can rest well after shift. i can sleep longer with my aircon off. i can have a good night sleep. you are correct - they do have both sides.

I like rainy days when I don't really have anything to do. Or if I want to put off something I would have to do. But when I would have to go to the office and do something, I hate rainy days. I also like rainy days because we don't have to use electric fans at night. It is very cold when we leave the electric fans on. So it would be really energy-conserving if there would be rain at night. I like rains at night. Have a nice day!

Well I love rain. The rainy season here in Belize has just began. I just hope I could saty all day long at home and enjoy the day with the rain. I love to get wet under the rain. it make me feel great. I really love the rain
