Family Summer Vacation

I just started a new job last month so it will be a year before I can take any kind of time off. But congrats to you and I think you should have ATLEAST one day for you!

Hi my friend, It sounds like you'll have a great time just getting away from things. We don't usually take a vacation anywhere. For one thing, with gas prices so high, it's so expense to go for a car trip anywhere. My hubby doesn't get like a week vacation at a time. He gets them one a time during the year for each week he works. Unfortunately he doesn't have enough sense to save them and take like a week off at one time. He seems to use them up as soon as he gets them. lol Have a great day, Char

We had a few days off from work recently but it wasn't very pleasant at all. We had company here the whole time. It was my daughters boyfriend. He lives quite a few miles from her and that was the best time for them to see each other, so she planned it out without asking us first. My husband and I work seven days a week. We have not really had a vacation to just rest up. This month has been full of bad luck also. My daughter has to have surgery within a week or so to remove a cyst on her ovaries also. I am also scared about that. We don't have time for a vacation but it is very well needed. Sigh.
