i am just like you dear. having irregular periods. but when i consult to the gynecolog, he said that my fertile period is a week after my periods ended and a week before i starting periods again. although our periods is irregular but i believe that you can sense your self for having periods cause there is always symptoms of that. as like felt broken bones of my body, easily getting angry and starting feeling pain under my stomach

Well the best advice I could give you is to consult your nearest ob gyn about your situation. I guess you have a rare condition that makes you dependent on birth control pills. If that is your case it would really be hard for you to get pregnant as you are taking those pills. So I guess the best that could answer you is your doc about it.

I am very sorry to know that as far as I know you are not suppose to take birth control pills at all, it is better if you can consult nice gynecalogist who will be able to help you out further, I pray God that very soon you should become mother. Take care!

What does your doctor say? Has he sent you to a specialist? There are many reasons for bleeding continuously and it is better that you seek the proper medical attention before you try to get pregnant.

Is this your first trial or you already have issues before? I know some preservatives could cause that (side effects) but i will advice you to see a gynocologist.

Hi Neph,The wisest thing to do is get yourself a competent/recognized/licensed gynaecologist/obsterician. If in doubt you may need to get a second opinion. Sometimes it's quite easy or complicated in trying to determine what the problem is, but once it is discovered you can start working at resolving it. Have you ever been given an overall health assessment or checkup for your condition? Have your partner been assessed for his ability to get you pregnant? Is your problem only related to the irregular periods? These are all questions that you have to examine. How are you being managed with the birth control? These things work for some and not others, as well they can have some serious side effects. I wish you get what you desire. I'm trusting for mine.[em]thumbup

The best advice to give you is go to your OB/GYNE. If you do not have one yet, go find a good one. I also have irregular periods ever since and I also need to drink pills to have my period regularly. When I wanted to get pregnant, I stopped my pills and my OB/GYNe made me drink fertility pills for one cycle to make me produce more eggs. When I finished my first cycle, I was pregnant already. Don't worry, this is easy to deal with, specially with all the technology nowadays. Goodluck and hope you get pregnant soon.

First of all, welcome to myLot! We're one big, international happy family. You're sure to be happy here. Your profile doesn't say where in the US you are, but there are fertility specialists just about everywhere. It's my understanding that the best are at teh teaching hospitals connected with universities. May you find your way. You'll be in my prayers.

Well I would suggest going and talking it over with your doctor. They would be best on telling you how to go about doing so.

I think this is something that you should probably consult your gynocologist or your family doctor about. Hopefully they can tell you what it is that you need to do. Happy MyLotting!

I think that this is a question for your doctor. I personally think that no one on MyLot can really help you. Your best bet is to go to your doctor and ask him/her what to do. Thats what I would do. Good luck!
