Did anyone read any good books lately

Hi, i love reading! i really enjoy reading historical novels, perhaps not everyone's taste but if it appeals to you then phillipa gregory has done some really good ones. Another book that i really enjoyed was by Elizabath Kostova and was called The Historian- it was all about a man who received a mysterious gift and ended up on the trail of count dracula, sounds a bit daft when i describe it like that but was actually really good! Another book that i read a couple of year ago was We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Schriver, it's in the format of a series of letters written by a woman to her husband about their son who was involved in high school shootings, it's pretty heavy going and not very light hearted but it really made me think about things, which i think is a good thing for any book! If you're looking for a more cheerful,girly read then anything by Jill Mansell is worth a look, they're usually a typical boy meets girl story but with a funny twist or quirk. Hope that helps! xvx
