I am a teacher. Every I will have a new student, parents are allowed to watch. It is fine with me. But today and tomorrow, a group of people from different schools in my work area will watch one of my best classes. I don't like being watched. I can't move freely. Though I do the same being watched or not but just don't like other people looking or staring at me. What about you?

Same here. I don't like it when my teacher would stare at me and thinking if I am capable to the thing she wants us to do. Its really difficult being look at. When I am looking at someone, I don't have a beautiful or pleasant mind, so I'm thinking, they'll have the same thoughts that I have. Take care

Though unavoidable I still have a very uneasy feeling that I might make a mistake and put the company at risk. The confidence and self esteem are usually gone. It is difficult but I always prepare. I never come to war without a weapon. Thank you so much for responding. Take care

It's not good being evaluated. I've taught before and I dont like administrators coming in to watch. It is part of their job to see how you are doing, but I find it intimidating. Just be yourself and you will do fine. I would also let my students know that if they do the right things in class there will be something in it for them. a lil bribery never hurt anybody.

Hi bianca0531, Its a natural feeling. Even though you are not being evaluated, just the fact that you are being watched will certainly make you feel uneasy. Thank you so much for responding. Take care

I don't like to be watched as well. I feel like I am caged and whatever actions I do are scrutinized. Of course, it's always good to work freely without any hesitations. With staring eyes around, you can't give your best shot.

Hahaha. Same here. Its the scrutinizing that I don't like. We are not perfect. We make mistakes specially if there are people watching. But you know that it is also good to be watched because we will know how we really work. Their comments or criticism will either improve us or degrade us. Basically it is the attitude we must have towards the effect after the criticism has been told. Hahaha... I hate hearing the comments too. Thanks for responding. take care

I don't like it either. I hate when I have to give presentations or stand in front of a lot of people and talk. For some reason it doesn't seem so bad when you can sit down and do the project but usually we aren't aloud to do that.

Same here, I don't like giving presentations too. But if you are the best, you are expected to give the report and present it. Thank you so much for responding. Take care

I am not a teacher, but I have been a student in a classroom where people would come in and monitor a day's worth of lessons, and I would hate it. The only benefit that I see to having someone monitoring the class is that the class will pretend that they know how to behave (they don't, really). But, most of my teachers liked to joke around, and we like learning when we can have fun the entire period, rather than sit there leaning against our hand and staring at the board and trying to hold our heads up. The teacher has to be serious the entire time, and the class feels entirely unnatural. I hate it.
