It is a really good thing I was slacking about leaving the house today...

While I was in the shower getting ready to leave to go run some errands my 85 year old grandpa came over and my son let him in. He locked himself out of his house. He was outside doing some yard work and when he went to go back inside he couldn't get it. He knew we had a spare key so he came down. Thank goodness his garage door was open and he had a set of car keys in the garage. Otherwise he would have had to walk the 1/4 mile to our house. Had I gotten ready on time I would not have been here when he came down to get his spare key. Do you have spare keys? Do you have someone to hold onto spare keys for you? Have you locked yourself out of the house before?

Can I count the times when I have locked myself out of the car, out of my office, out of my house? I have done this to many times to count. I do have several spare sets cause I have lost the first spare. Or wait a min I forgot where I hid the hidakey at. LOL

Hi lilybug. I don't have any spare keys at the moment. I do need to have some made just in case though. I know that my mother-in-law used to keep her neighbor's/friend spare house key at her house. Sometimes her neighbor has a tendency to leave her original keys locked into her house. I have never locked myself out of my own house, but I have when I stayed with someone else. This was only because I did not have a key to their house.
