These are the places i keep track of using weather widgets. Why, you may wonder! Because this is where members of my family are! In this crazy world, we are frequently finding out that to see our immediate family members it is no longer just a trip that is over the river and through the woods. It can involve interstates and airlines, id checks and little bottles of shampoo So, tell me where all of your family members are? Do you keep track of their weather like I do? If you don't get to see them a lot then how often do you talk to them?

The majority of my family members live in the state. However my oldest daughter and her family live a nine hour drive away. She is in hurricane territory so we try to keep an eye on her weather too.

Yes, there are warnings about tornadoes, and they are not so long lasting as hurricanes. The thing that bothered me was in California they had earthquakes, really no warnings.

Hurricanes are scary but I think I prefer them to tornadoes. At least with hurricanes there is a warning. I feel awful for those people in tornado alley.

Furthest away is my daughter in Minnesota. She lives not far from a myLot member on my friend list, so I know about her weather. I email her, and we call fairly often. They have a good situation, but are too far away from here. My Dad is in Oklahoma City, my brother is in Guthrie, Oklahoma. My sister, and niece are here. Another niece, in Yukon, Ok, nephew in Moore, Ok, nephew in Norman, Ok. That pretty well is my family now.

If I go with nieces and nephews, I have to put in Massachusetts and Ohio. After a while it is just too much to keep track of. And I know about you and Grandpa Bob! I just wonder if his wife does? I assume yes,

Yes, you have family all over too. It is good in a way, you have a place to go to for vacation but on the other hand you don't get to see your family as much as you would like. How often to you get to see/talk with them. Especially your husband. That has to be awful separated like that.

My stepson is stationed in Biloxie for the next few months, he is the Air Force, so we will be keeping track of those Gulf Hurricanes this summer. My son, who is in the Navy is on the coast of Georgia, so for that reason we keep track of the Atlantic hurricanes. Every day we go to NOAA and look where they are.

I keep track of my own weather and also where my daughter lives and my brother. When my daughter and grandson was on vacation I kept track of the weather also where they were at. One time I had a different weather on my desktop and I also kept track of the weather where my son's best friend moved to in Norway.

Yes, when we go away we look at their weather as well. Somehow, just looking at their weather for me is a bit of a tie to them. It sounds strange but that is the way I am.
