I was wondering what is your views on the difference between love and infatuationFor me love happens once in a lifetime and last eternally whereas infatuation is an attraction which does not last eternally. Infatuation and love has a world of difference. Please provide your views on what you think may be the difference between love and infatuation. Thanks

Love is patient, it is kind, it never puffs up, never boasts. It's not self seeking, its not easliy angered, it keeps no record to wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, nor rejoices in truth. It always protects, always hopes, always preseveres. Love never fails. Found in 1st Corithians 13, the opposite of everything is LUST. Infatuation is a short temporary feeling, fleeting and easily go, sometimes when people are infatuated they don't see the difference and often mistaken or replaced the real essence of love. Infatuation seeks for a selfish desire thus, categorically lust. Infatuation doesnt last and love does last even for a lifetime.

Thanks for your response dear.. You are right many times people mistook love and think it's infatuation. But there's a world of difference between love and infatuation.

Love is an indescribable feeling. It has no reasons at all... It is just like full of emotions. It is more on a serious relationship... Infatuation is only an attraction to someone you find beautiful, great or you just find interesting. Love really happens once in a lifetime and only for one person, in infatuation you can like a lot of person...
