Dial up modem and nothing higher than that. Where I live there is nothing that the phone service offers that is higher. Where I live I can't get high speed unless i get cable or a satellite internet service and they cost to much. What about you?

I use broadband because dial up is too damn slow for what I do online, it's faster, reliable and more flexible on what you can do, and yes I used to use dial up, I was also one of those so called hardcore dial up users and thought it was a waste but I turned out to be completely wrong on that and haven't looked back since. Basically there is no excuse in not to use broadband these days, unless you live in some remote place where broadband isn't available and also broadband is about the same price as dial up or even cheaper in the UK depending.

I used to have cable at home, but I stopped using it because it was too expensive for me. Now I just use the wireless internet at the coee shop. When I am in Arizona with my husand. we have a cale connecion at the apartment down there, but when I'm i Canada, I'm happy with the ocnnection hat I get at the coffee shop. Not having the internet at home gives me a nie exuse to get out and go somewhere.

I use cable. It is fast and somewhat reliable. I connect to my cable internet using wi-fi.
