I saw an online ads promoting a program which has three days free trial. I want to join the program but I am afraid that I if I give my credit information, it will starts to bill me. It happened to my friend when he subscribed for a certain online program that is why I am afraid to try it. Are free trials really free? Do you usually join these kind of offers in the internet?

If you give your credit card information, you get the three days free, but then you have to go through some opt out procedure to get out and not be billed. And that needs to be done before the trial period is up. I would be very hesitant to hand over my card info for something like that.

You can get it stopped but it is NOT easy... what I recommend to people is if it is something you are really interested in and want to try and not just doing it because it is 'free' then go ahead and do it... the percentages will work out that you will stick with it anyways. If you are just doing it 'cause it is free it is way more of a hassle to cancel just to get something for a couple days (and risk paying for a full month!). Thanks Zelo

I would suggest that you have to forget that offer. Credit card companies will automatically charged you when you subscribed to their service even they said that it is free for first three days. Get another free service that does not required a credit card.
