Far too many people rely on over-the-counter and RX drugs these days to solve their common ailments. Most of us have relief sitting right in our kitchen or bathroom and don't know how to use it. Go here http://homemademedicine.com/ and check these things out! Maybe some can afford a costly doctor bill and the trip to the pharmacy, but others can't. Why not use what we have and save money? Not too long ago I helped a girl get rid of a wart with "milk-weed" a common plant in many areas. Shouldn't we start sharing such things with each other and be helping our fellow man by doing so? * rubbing alcohol will work just as good as a cream for muscle aches I bet most of us already have that for first aid. See what I mean? Do you know of other things we can share on this subject?

When we were in elementary school, our Science Club started a project about medicinal plants. We made a garden in school full of well-known plants that can cure common sicknesses at home. We even encourage the pupils to propagate these plants in their homes. One common plant found and cultivated all over the Philippines and is used to threat coughs is oregano (Coleus aromaticus Benth). This is different species but belongs to the same family as the oregano (Origanum vulgare) used in Italian dishes. For adults, one tablespoonful of the plant leaves juice every hour is used. For children, one teaspoonful every two hours, four times daily is given. The plants leaves can also be used as tea.
