Friends in real life

I'm new here and I hope to make a little cash as well as make some friends. I'm a bit shy and introverted I guess, so I don't have but a handful of friends in my real life. Heck I'm not even sure if I have a handful. I can count them on one hand and not use all my fingers up.
Do you have lots of friends in your real life?

First, welcome to myLot. Second i am more than a bit shy and i don't even have a handful of real friends. I have moonlitmagikchild and that's about it. Socializing in real life has never been easy for me and its why i like the internet.

NP and i know how it is. Of course i have a fear of getting hurt that has a tendency for me to not make a lot of friends. I have had only a hand full of friends in my life that haven't betrayed me in some way and the ones who didn't i have just lost contact with for various reasons. So i am down to one, but i would rather have one best friend who i know accepts me whole heartedly then a lot of friends who don't really know me or accept me.

Hi! I'm new here too... :)
I'm a bit shy & introverted too, but sometimes I can also be extroverted & outspoken.. especially with people I know well, & if I'm in a good mood & full of energy.. :)
I do have quite a few friends, but they're all over the country.. Or the world.. :) So we don't hang out much anymore.. But I still love them dearly...
I would say that most of my best friends are a bit shy & introverted too.. & very intelligent.. Shy & a bit introverted people can be much better friends!! :)

Hi LadyStrawberry. Thank you for answering my post. I didn't really even know what to say. I open up too when I get to know people. You might be right that shy people make better friends... like I'm loyal to all my friends and the ones that have remained loyal to me will be my friends for life. Thank you for commenting on my user name. I love yours too. I love strawberries... especially dipped in chocolate!

I have different kinds of friends in real life. I have the kind you talk to when you are having a bad day. I have the friends from church and of course I have a large family and we are very close friends.
I have some wonderful friends online. There are other sites where you can make money doing what you do here. If you are interested, just email me and I will give you all the information.

I live in a small town that I grew up in; so I know lots of people and have many aquaintences but for true friends... I've only got a few of those but they are important to me and I make sure to tell them all the time. There's a circle of 6... just over a handful but those 6 people are worth more to me than all of my aquaintences put together.

I am the kind of person that has a lot of people that I know pretty well, and only a few that I would call very good friends. I don't let just Anyone get close enough to be called a good friend. This usually take some time for me.
Then again I do not have a lot of online friends. I use too but not anymore.
I don't think it is how many friends you have, I think it is how the friends you have make you feel!

Hi LoiseKnittel. I like your last sentence best. How your friends that you have make you feel. The good friends that I have make me feel like family. I don't have many but the ones I have I have had for a good number of years.
