i never use internet explorer anymore(i always just use the flock or avant for my internet browsing)and my internet explorer runs kind of slowly anyways and i was thinking if i un installed internet explorer it would make more room and like i said i never really use it anyways but i am kind of afraid to un install it because i don't really know what will happen if i do and i don't want to mess my computer up...so what i was wondering is what will happen if i do un-install it, will i ever be able to get it back and if i do un install it can i still browse with flock or avant browser? thanks for reading my discussion and hopefully you can help me, thanks again for reading!

I tried uninstalling internet explorer and used an alternative like opera and firefox and then I reinstalled it again. I think you can still browse the internet as long as you have another alternative browser and that you are setting your internet options with that alternative browser as your default browser. I haven't heard of flock and avant though.

By the way, do you scan your pc for viruses? Viruses can also slow down your browsing.

Internet Explorer is part of the Windows OS system, just leave it or don't remove whenever you use other internet browsing. Though it doesn't bother or make conflicts to other asthey make associate with other files like firefox..

Other program uses component of IE to operate properly. Nero burning rom require it. Window explorer use these too, outlook express, applications that generate an HTML report or read XML data. It is really much better to leave it as it is. I you want you could just remove the icon in your desktop or start menu but never uninstall it.

I uninstalled it once and some programs wouldn't work because they'd use internet explorer sometimes. Your better of just leaving it on your computer.
