who did you tell first when you found out you were pregnant?

My husband found out with me that I was pregnant. I had taken several pregnancy tests, and then when the Dr. confirmed it, I was like in shock. I was so excited. My mother was the 2nd person to find out that I was pregnant. But when I found out what I was having, I had planned to tell both of them together, but she would not let me and insisted that I tell her. That was kind of upsetting.

It's kind of a funny story, but I had been sick for about a week and said something to my mother about it. She asked me if I was pregnant and I told her that I didn't think so, she kept telling me that she thought that I was. She even bought me a pregnancy test. I went home after she got it for me and I took it and sure enough, I was. I went to her house and told her and I just started crying because me and my daughter's father had just broken up and I had tried to move on. I'll never forget the words that came from her mouth, "There's no reason to cry. You can't change it now." She was so right, and my daughter is one of the two greatest blessings that I've ever had in my life. When I found out that I was pregnant with my son, I also told my mom before my dad. Actually, I didn't even tell my dad that I was pregnant with my son, my mom accidentally told him before I got to. Happy MyLotting!

My husband and I were stationed in Turkey when I found out I was pregnant. My husband knew along with me. But when we got back home to the states we took my Mom and Dad out to eat. My Dad has a place out in the country and he was talking about this horse that was out there that was pregnant. My husband and I both looked at each other. Than I mentioned to both my Mom and Dad that the fact of you know that your talking about and both Mom and Dad said yes. Well, I looked at them both and told them I was in the same way as the horse. You should have seen them. They both were very happy about it.
