Our incomes from mylot is going to reduce...will you leave mylot????

Yes you read it right. Our income from my lot may reduce. As you can notice that every hour over 100 people are joining my lot. From yesterday it's around 2000 increase. If the population increases at this rate there may be a chance that mylot may reduce the pay rate unless they earn something more from every new users. But ads here in mylot are PPC based & not everyone clicks on them. So there is a chance that our income may reduce. If this happens, will you still stay with mylot? I can say that i will not leave my lot for this reason. My intention of coming here was making money. Now i enjoy being here which makes making money the 2nd reason for being here.

Though a number of people are signing at this site daily, you cannot tell how many will be active members at this site. And one more thing is that increase in traffic of the site indicates that the site is becoming more popular. Hence the chances of earning at the site increases. About me, I will still stay at this site irrespective of the earnings. Because though I joined the site without knowing much about it, now I love mylotting. So I will stay with mylot though it pays or not.As all of us know, earning at this site is just in cents. But sharing the views and having fun is more at this site. I love that much more.

I would still stay too. Yes I first joined because I heard it was a money making site. But I definitely haven't stayed as long as I have for the pennies we make. I have stayed because I enjoy talking with the friends I've made here and joining in the discussions that interest me.

I recommend you not even listen to this guys illogical conclussions. Everyone seems to think he has a clue and he knows nothing about owning a website or traffic so ignore his rumors and attempts stir the pot. Look at his numbers, he is by far and away not a mylot long timer or even in the know. It would really be stupid to listen to him. If you don't believe me do a little research on your own, you will discover he thinks backwards.

I have not spread any false rumor alori61. I have just wrote about a probable situation that might happen. One more thing please do not use such sentences you used here in other discussions. Look how most mylotters gave their opinion.

I would still continue to be a part of mylot althogh i would agree that if there is a major fall in the imcome levels the level of my activity would certainly get reduced. But i would still continue to get to my friends and see the discussions started by them and try to give my views where possible.

Where on earth are you getting you number from??? On 7/19 I opened a discussion commentating on how much our member numbers have been decreasing http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1611891.aspx. So three days ago we had 137,055 members today it is 136,757 an increase of 298 in 24 hours which is a average increase of 4 members per hour NOT 100...!!!To answer your question no I would not leave .

The number given are still crap but FYI here is a website site that show daily numbers of people per day and as you can see it is dropping way down!! On 06/30 it was only about 16,000. This probably only shows who was active on that date not the thousands of people who are just signed up. http://www.quantcast.com/profile/traffic-compare.jsp?domain0=wd:com.mylot

I don't think that is enough reason to leave mylot. I enjoy mylot's discussions. Also, in case the population grows, still we cannot make sure that all this people have the time to post on mylot on a regular basis right? So as for the earnings let's keep our hopes up that the earnings will remain the same/

It is not my primary source of income so the money doesn't bother. Although I do enjoy the fact that I get something for voicing my opinion but at the same time I love this site because I get come on here and let go of everything that I want to say. I am on here everyday. It is refreshing to read other peoples take on life and add my 2 cents. Increase or Decrease....just keep the site on.

good day.. I've gone this far and really enjoy doing this in my free time so I'll stay. Mylot has been around for years now I think they already prepared for this eventuality. Population expansion.

I'm only here for the discussions, and don't even have a PayPal account, so I wouldn't even notice if the money stopped or disappeared or whatever. If I wanted to earn money, I'd go out and get a job - so no, it wouldn't make any difference to me because when I joined I didn't even know about the money anyway.

When I originally came here it was about money but, that has now changed. I wouldn't leave for that reason. I met too many nice, interesting and fun people. I'm enjoying myself way too much. The discussions are more than I ever imagined. I have trouble actually tearing myself away. My boyfriend can't understand what I'm doing. He gets home from work and I'm on the computer till all hours of the night. I never thought I could get this involved in an internet site like this.

One of the reason I joined myLot is to earn money. Second reason is to make friends. I am very happy at getting lots of friends in myLot. It is always great to get lots of answers for the discussions I start. Most probably I will not leave myLot. It is always great to see more people joining as it can bring more friends.

Your headline says income "IS" going to reduce. But that's not really true according to your article. But I guess that's what gets hits.

I wouldn't leave mylot either. About 8 months ago mylot wasn't paying very much and it took about 3 times the amount of postings to earn the minimum payout. I never gave up then, and I will not give up again, if the rates go down. We aren't getting a whole lot of money now, for our postings, so a few cents less won't matter much. Besides I am not here just for the money anymore, and am here because I love the people and have made some good friends. I would miss my friends if I were to leave the site. I wouldn't miss the money as it isn't much anyways. So I will be here for another year anyways, I am almost at my first year as a member.

I do this everyday. After reading all of the responses and comments to the ones I responded on, I respond then to a few newer discussions and then I go to the oldest ones in my email box and respond to some of those. That is how I ended up responding to one of your old discussions. I am around 3 months behind in my email notifications and I have about 6000 discussions to respond to so I do some everyday. But I never catch up as my friends are very active and I get more emails than I can post to. But that is good because then I can re-activate some of the old discussions and more people then see it and do some more responding as well. I have had a lot of people thank me for this, since now they are getting more responses to them and earning more money without making any more efforts on that discussion. I found this discussion in one of the mylot digests I get. I am happy to do this for fellow members and at the same time I am making more money too. Good luck to you and all of your discussions. I hope you get lots of responses to them, my friend.

darksorrow since I dont believe rumors until they become fact I will not leave mylot as I dont think they will decrease our pay as we would have heard about it had that been true. so I will stay and keep mylotting as I am here both for the company of myfriends, for making responses and sharing things with friends and the money I make so I am staying here indefinitely lol.

I don't think we sholud depend so much on MyLot to earn sufficient income. As for me I find it hard to get referrals. The income I earned so far is so small, like few cents in a day. Yes, my first intention joining MyLot is to get extra income. But how, just like you, it comes second. I enjoy meeting people online and respond to the discussions. Who knows my views could save other peoples' life!
