I hardly eat and when I do it is healthy food, I do not drink sodas, I drink water and juice, but I still cannot lose weight. I actually have gained 20 pounds in less than a month and cannot understand how. I went to a doc. and he said I was fine, but how could that be. noone gains that much when they are eating very little and healthy.

Do you eat things with sugar or starches? Many "low fat" things are VERY fattening because they contain high fructose corn syrup, which your body can not burn. Juices are also filled with sugar.

I am going to have to watch. I know that I cut out all white foods a few years back.

Thank you. I gave that stuff up over 5 years ago, but some has crept back in. But I never feel better than when I am off the stuff. But I tell you I am very label conscious, I read everything.I do not have any of that stuff in my house but when I go out my family and friends are always saying a little can not hurt, but it can hurt.

It could be that your body is just trying to store up some fat, a very normal occurrence when someone starts to try to lose weight. The doc says you are fine, so it is either the body rejecting your diet ideas or there is something else in that healthy food that is fattening. Good luck with dieting
