Kissing a child

Kissing their child is a sort of show of love and affection which many parents indulge in. Some prefer to kiss on the child's forehead, nose, eyes, hands, chins etc. Where do you normally kiss your child? Will you allow or like others to kiss your child? How do you feel if they kiss your child?

I always kiss my baby on the cheeks... but when she is in the mood... she would let me kiss her on the lips... and that is just very sweet... i will never allow a stranger to kiss my child... only my relative... and those who i know well... i would certainly feel uncomfortable when someone i do not know tries to kiss my child... that is just plain rude...

When I was a child, we were taught that kissing on the lips was for lovers, but my daughter kisses her children on the lips. This practice makes me uncomfortable.

I like to hug my grandsons and kiss them on top of their heads. They are 9, 6, and 3. Sometimes I will kiss their hand but you know, they just don't wash their hands often enough! LOL So, top of the head most of the time. I do not like kissing on the lips. I am ok with others hugging or kissing the boys on the top of the head too but I don't like seeing anyone kissing them on the lips. I don't know why, it seems wrong somehow. I guess I just have hang ups or something about it.

I kiss my kids all the time...everyday...several times a day. I kiss their cheeks, the top of their heads, I guess I don't think about it. Relatives are okay but if someone I didn't know wanted kiss my child I would definitely have a problem!

Kissing a child! I love to kiss on my son's every part of body especially back and face. His nose, ears, lips. I do not ever like when someone unknown tries to kisses him, I just asked the person not to kiss him.

I kiss my children on the forehead or cheek. When they were youn, they would wipe off my kiss so Iwould grab them and give a reallong kiss and say that is a mommy kiss. you cant wipe thatone off because it goes straight to the heart and stays tere forever. It became a game at night. If I forgot they always asked for there mommy kiss. We laugh about it now and I tell them those kisses are still in your heart.

I like to show my son affection and attention on a regular basis. Sure I kiss him and so does my husband. I like to kiss him on the cheek and he kisses me back. I also hug him especially in the morning when he gets up. He seems like a happy child. I can't say that a lot of people kiss him. But I wouldn't mind depending on who it is. I think this is a bit of a peculiar question you ask, but I figured I would answer it.
