Would you welcome me with open armsWhere would you take me to and show me? I wondered of this as I am expecting a friend's visit soon. We most probably will go to popular eatery spots, shopping complexes, cinema and meet my parents? She might even enjoy my mum's cooking. Yes, a girlfriend and local What do you think since I have never been to your place, what would you introduce me to and like me to experience? If you don't think that you could welcome me, it is ok. Just share and tell what's great about your place and nice about it Thank you for sharing.

I do not know your age or culture:nonetheless I come from a culture & an era when hosptality to strangers was extended unconditionally. If u were to come by starving & we were out u could go in & help urself:just leave a note or 'sign' you were in. It would be expected that either u would return & compensate us or pass it on. I still live that way:my door is seldom locked Why should it be? if u intend to rob the joint the damage done exceeds my physical loss. If u needed a place 2 roost I'd allow it provided there is a co-share of cost,if possible:if not, repay l8r or pass it On.U would the same freedoms here as if u were home:again, proviso that I would enjoy the same freedom. Where would I take if u visited? The interesting places I like as well expecting that u would tell me where you wanted to go.I live in an industrial bay city with with places like a botanical garden to visit, historical sites, a beach to swim in if not signed as being unfit. My place includes my apartment building where for the most part everyone gets along with me:important as I am a Canadian "Indian"& have left everything behind when I found I wasn't wanted at my last residence. So this another nice about my 'place', city & dwelling, it is a tolerable place to call home.

Hie Musicologist, that is an interesting welcome and hospitality in a different kind of way but I feel it is still fair. I am glad that you have got a better place that you are comfortable with. Thank you for sharing and best wishes. Cheers,

Hi Desierra! I would most definatly welcome you with open arms. There would be so much to show you, in my country we are known for our hospitality. I would take you for a day trip to one of our award winning island, where we can lie on the beach and enjoy the pink sand, I would also take you to our fish fry, so you can enjoy some of our native foods and get to met the locals, which is an adventure in itself. But before we can do all that, you would have to meet some of my extended family, because i'd be lynched if i had a guest from abroad and didn't bring them to dinner with the family.

Hie Sierra! You are welcome to come here anytime! Hehe! First I would introduce you to my mom, she's a great person and then my sister too. After that, I'll take you to the living room and show you a framed compilation of our family pictures, where my dad's photos can be found. This was our tribute to him, "You'll stay forever in our hearts" that was the quote that we incorporated with the photos. We lost our dad almost two years ago from lung cancer, he was a great person too, I actually look a lot like him. Hehe. Slightly more good looking haha. Kidding. We miss him a lot, we'll probably end up with you listening to our stories. Then I'll take you to the kitchen and prepare you some food, mom loves to cook, I learned a little too. Hehe. I'm sure we'll have a great time, it would be nice to get acquainted with a friend that you don't get to see everyday. Hehe. God bless you!
