there was a time during my college years that i was earning from doing a website for a company. it was more than enough actually to sustain me for a year plus the fact that my dad still provides for me during my study. well, when i was about to graduate as a dentist, my schedule became loose. there are few requirements left for me to do so i really had the time. then one of my colleague who has the same status with me ask me to go and play at one of the casino just a few blocks from our school. well i only have 500 pesos(around 10$) on my wallet so i thought that if i lost it really wouldn't make much of a difference. it's just for fun anyway. guess what happened...nope i did not lose. i actually won 1500 which actually triples my money in just a few hours. wow. well it was actually a good experience but actually not a good thing though. because we came back, of course to win more right. we might be on a lucky streak. well it was addictive, we go there at least once a week not realizing that we are actually losing more than what we are winning. and we just stopped. which is a good thing because i bet most of the people there really can't stop as fast as we did. yes we stop. maybe i should thank God because we really didn't want to ever return to that play after losing a little. well actually i did lose around 20k in total. which is pretty big for a student but pretty small for those people who are really into casinos. well lesson learned. i'm actually thankful that i was able to play inside a casino. and i am very proud that i was able to sustain myself of going back to that place ever again. going to casino is fun. but if you go there to win, odds are you are going to lose not maybe on your first day but on the succeeding days when you thought that you could actually win big. hope you learned something from my experience. have fun guys. have a good day:)

So sad to hear about your story. I had the same experience as you. We think you could beat the casino. So we three people as a group played in casino, we went there once a week, At the beginning, we always could earn some money to leave. But unfortuntely, one day, we total lost 5000. We never come back again. However, we found out a way to make money in on-line casino. In the last 3 years, I maybe earned total 60,000. Since last year, US made a law again on-line gambling, it made my gambling business go down a lot.

I give you a suggestion:NEver use your real money to try to beat casino. You do use the on-line casino's bonus policy to make money. But it doesn't work in US. At the same time the bonus rule has been changed. it makes it hard to make money now.

I'm too practical to enjoy gambling, since I just see it as money being thrown away, so I never bothered going to our casino. It's been here for 5 years, and I'd never gone .. until my husband dragged me about two months ago. I ended up putting 5 bucks into a nickel machine, won $200, and walked away laughing. Now he keeps bugging me to go back, since luck seems to be on my side, but why ruin a good streak? ;)

just as kevin spacey said - it's always best to go out when you're on top.

I don't think I will go to casino. Not only that we in the government service are prohibited to enter the place, I also find it so addictive. I know a lot of people, personally, stopped play only after they were totally left with nothing. It's good for you that you realized it early and stopped playing again. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

maybe playing on online casino and playing it for real is different. the interaction with other people and how they react when they win or lose adds to the excitement. playing just for fun inside a casino can really kill time. can also kill your money though. one thing i've learned from playing inside a casino is that you don't bring excess money. when you go there just bring SOME money that you think will be enough to have fun. if you did lose, well it's ok, if you did win, better. have a good day to both of you neildc and jephone.:)

Actually, playing in casino is really boring job. I've been playing on-line casino for 4 years. I always felt into sleep when I was playing. It won't make me excited at all.

the local casino is slowly positioning itself as an entertainment venue, together with its corporate social responsibility. somehow it balances. they may encourage people to come and unwind. in return, they are able to help disadvantaged communities and individuals. i am lucky enough to be a beneficiary of their csr program. being a solo mom, they are able to support my son's fast increasing cost of education.
