Most of us are lazy to work on Mondays. I feel the same thing sometimes. Just couldn't figure out if the exact reason, if I just wanted more time to rest or I was just feeling lazy. Have you felt the same thing before? If yes, why do you think so?

Hi Sometime I feel Monday sickness, especially when we go out on Sundays and come back at late night. Then on Monday I feel like to be in home and take rest atleast till afternoon.

I'm having the same feeling too. I think mostly because monday is the first day of the week, and it'll be long till another weekend. WHen it comes to weekend, somehow the mood automatically turn to happy. my col & me, have this naming for every day of a week. - lazy monday, working tuesday, ok-ok wednesday, anticipating thursday, happy friday, enjoying saturday, (forgot) sunday -

I feel like that alot. I think it's because we just had two days off of work and it just seems hard to get back into the swing of things. Just thinking that we have a full week ahead of us before we get time off again. I love working, but I also love my time off to spend with my family and doing the things I like to do.

I use to have it when I worked - Mondayitis we called it - pulled a lot of sickies on Mondays and Fridays and or after long weekends. I find it hard nowadays getting up on a Monday morning even though I am a stay at home mom. I still have to get up early though to get my son ready for school, but somehow we are always running late. Tuesdays are much better though lol

We teachers find Mondays to be a real challenge. Not only is it really hard to get ourselves going when we really want at least one more day off; we see several hundred sleepy, cranky kids every Monday. When a 4-day week is proposed as a money-saving measure, some people say it would put an end to Killer Mondays. Actually, I think it owuld just change the killer day to Tuesday.

Monday is a challenging day for me. I am a teacher too. As I teacher I must be a great role model. So I really prepare for Mondays but its a person's attitude to change Monday to be a good day. When I was just starting to teach, I often got a Monday sickness. Its a very heavy day for me. But I got this feeling that whenever I start my week to be heavy and sleepy I would have a week like that. So, I usually do all my outside personal affairs from Friday evening until Sunday morning. From Sunday afternoon, I rest already to prepare myself for the battle of Monday. This battle has to do with sleepy students and all the paper works. take care =)
