I have been a member for the last 2 months and I have found that it is the best thing. I never have to leave the house, so i save money on gas, plus i get to watch great movies. I love it.

I agree. It's perfect if you live in a rural area like I do. I think it's really the cheapest option available. Some people like that red box method you have in some grocery stores where you can rent movies for like a dollar a day. The only trouble with that is that they charge you an extra dollar a day if you dont bring it back and the store is 25 minutes from my house. I'm not driving there just to return a movie!

Netflix is nicer, no returns other than mailing back, and the mailers are provided by the company postage paid. Also, NO late fees! We used to have Blockbuster because our local one is about a mile from the house. Unless you went on Tues mornings when the new releases released each week, you could go up to a month without a single new release being IN the dang store for checkout. I did have the monthly movie pass but it was only for 2 movies at a time and it was close to $32 a month!

Netflix is an excellent service! We do not live in a rural area, it would probably be considered suburban, like a bedroom community. However, the cost for Netflix is much much lower than Blockbuster and the selection is much better! It's also nice to be able to browse and add to your queue online, from the comfort of your home or via internet access on your cell phone, and I have recently downladed the instant play viewer so I can watch instant streaming movies or shows that are available. They are very fast with shipping and returns, we average something new every other day or so if we are mailing something back daily. I think there are a LOT of shipping warehouses located near most high-density residential areas, so nobody has to wait very long for their movies. I highly recommend this service to anybody who is riding the fence. They've been around awhile and have developed a very happy user base. Try it out, you will not be disappointed!

I have been with them for over a year now and they are great. If we watched as many movies on pay-per-view as we do on Netflix it would cost more than double what we spend for Netflix. I have the unlimited one at a time plan for $9.99 a month. It is plenty for us.

Netflix is awesome. My family has been on there since 2003, I believe. It really is a great way to get your movies. We don't really check our queue that often so it's a surprise to us when we get a movie that we've been waiting forever to see, lol. I think we have over 300 titles on there right now.

Oh yes, I have been using them for quite some time now and love it. I also use the watch it now feature when my husband is working and there is nothing I want to watch on TV. Then I watch the "chick flicks' he is not fond of. I do have to remeber to keep updating my list.

My mom and I share the same house and she is the controller of the Netflix in our house--which is fine because until a few months ago I was too busy working all the time to even be home or stay awake for movies. Now, I have set up an account for my husband and me at his house (okay okay---we're divorced but reconciled a year ago but just now moving toward living together again LOL) and he absolutely LOVES it. We needed a cheap-date idea for us to have more "date nights" at home and this did the trick. We are on the 3-movie plan and are really enjoying it.

We joined Netflix last year but cancelled the subscription because we subscribe to cable we get a lot of free movies along with our subscription so decided we didn't need this anymore. It is a great thing though.

i've considered it but am not in the position to take advantage of it right now. what also is a good deal is pay per view because you have the same benefits of not leaving your home. but with netflix you have more of a variety. either way they are both good. beats going to the store and returning things.
