Why my picture does not move!!!

I am having trouble with my picture here on mylot. I have seen a few pictures that move. In other words they animate. So i also found a picture that moves. But the problem is when i uploaded my picture it does not move. But it moves in my profile.
The problem with my picture is that some mylotters think that i am a girl. Even in one of my discussions someone also told that. I felt too shy at that
that time.
So if my picture moves then i think there will be no mistake marking me as a girl.
So can anyone help me on this matter???? Please

I don't like responding just to tell you that I don't know how to help - but that's how it is
Maybe you should try a different picture a bit smaller as could be that the one you are trying is too big?
Hope someone else sees this and cn give you the informatin you need - fingers crossed!

Yeah now it is animated. It was not when i have started this discussion.lol

Even though you got it going, I'll still add information that could help you or other members on this.
In order to get animation type .gifs moving you have to do some of the following.
When using a photo editing software, be sure to choose the option Save for Web (particularly using Photoshop). That is the correct command to make the .gif web worthy and it forms the animation properly instead of keeping it as a still image.
For mylot, animating .gifs have to be 60x60 pixels. They cannot exceed this total, otherwise the animations will not move in the discussion area. As a side note: .gifs larger than 60x60 can still animate, but it'll only do so on your profile.

Thanks for the wonderful tutorial. Although i know about this but could not describe it like you. This might help others who want to use an animated picture on their avatar.
