How do you wear your hair?

When I am home I like to have my hair up in a pony tail. I don't like it on my neck or in my face. When I go out I try to leave it down, because it looks nicer that way, but it always bugs me because I don't like it that way. I will usually tuck it behind my ears without even thinking about it, but it looks best if I don't do that. So how do you wear your hair when you are home and when you are out?

I have a very long hair. Even though, it's unhealthy to pony tail it almost every day, I have no choice. I don't want it to be in disarray.

I didn't know it wasn't healthy to put it in a pony tail everyday.

I've even heard from a shampoo commercial that it's a no-no as it causes hair loss. Having known that, I sometimes let it untied and bear with the consequence of having to keep it from blocking my view. I sometimes put hair clips on both sides without tying the rest.

I always wear my hair in ponytail, whether I'm out or just inside the house. I was even thinking of shaving my head but my boyfriend dis-agree.

I've thought about shaving it off once or twice, but I don't think I could ever realy do it. I'd look so strange.

I have said many times over the years that if I could get away with the bald look I would so go for it. Unfortunately I seriously doubt I would look good bald. Darn it!

I wear my hair pulled back in a ponytail 99.9% of the time. The exception to this is when I am letting it air dry. That is the only time it is down at all. It is a few inches past my shoulders right now since it needs to be cut. I normally get it cut so that it barely fits in a pony tail. I do not like it when my pony tail touches my neck either.

I don't mind my pony tail touching my neck, but I am just used to that. I've always had long hair, and I like it very long, so it usually is always on my neck a bit.

I wear my hair down all the time, it is past shoulder length and layered shorter at the sides. I cannot wear my hair up anymore, after about an hour of it being up my head becomes so sore or I develop the most horrible headache. I am much happier to wear it down when I am home or when I am out.

Sometimes when I style it up, or have a pony tail higher on my head, my head will become sore too when I take it down, but I am used to wearing it up because I always have done it.

I always wear my hair up! Does not matter what time of day or where I am going. I put it up with one of those clips. I never have the time to curl it. My hair needs to me curled if it is down.

My hair looks better curled too. Once it grows out a bit more, and after I'm done dying it, I plan on getting a perm. I've always liked the way I look with a perm.

I have always put my hair up in a ponytail when I was home, but then started putting it up when I went out because I can't stand it in my face either. So about 2 years ago, I mustered up the courage to chop it all off. It's short now and I like it. I do miss my hair long sometimes because of styling it different ways and braiding it. I was good at braiding my own hair. But having it short saves me a lot of time and energy. I'm so busy with work and kids, I just don't have the time like I used to playing with my hair. Also it's very convenient at work because I'm a waitress and we have to have it up anyway.

I don't like the way I look with short hair. I just can't do as much with it. But it works for some people. It would be a benefit in your line of work too.

My hair never change since childhood so I love my hair being like mine. Regular barber's cut, applying shampoo and conditioner makes my hair healthy and comfortable.

Most of the time I wear my hair in a ponytail, since it is down below my shoulders and it bugs me when it's on my neck, particularly in the summer. I'll wear it down sometimes, depending on where I'm going or what I'm going to be doing, but for the most part I have it pulled up. I used to have really short hair and I loved it, it was so easy to take care of, but like so many.....my s/o likes longer hair, so I've let it grow out. Although, luckily for me, he likes my hair up in a ponytail, and better yet if it's up and I wear a baseball cap with my ponytail pulled through the back lol.

I definitly look better with long hair, and I'm trying to grow it longer. But my husband likes my hair down, which is why I try to wear it down more often.

Hello katsmellow ? I used to always wear my hair down at home or when going out. This is because I have a wide forehead and quite afraid that it will be emphasized if I tie my hair. Besides I have a feeling that I look better if my hair is down. Anyway just recently I tried tying my hair in a ponytail and I surprisingly looked good I looked neater and yes i don’t have to worry about hair on my face and all that stuff.. Proper styling is all it takes. now I love tying my hair in a pony. But I still don’t do it everyday, every other day now. I think I will start the habit of tying my hair when going out then letting it down when I’m at home. Do you think it’s a nice habit to start?

I wear my hair really short but not shaved bald. I used to have long hair and it was difficult and hot. I like my hair now.

My hair is almost always up in a clip. I've been struggling with the decision of letting my hair grow. I've always wanted long hair but when it gets to its current length (down around my shoulder blades) it really gets so hot and heavy. I have very curly and wavy hair too so its a pain in the @ss to style. Mom loved my hair long so right now part of why I'm not cutting it is in honor of her. (I lost her last year) But since I always wear it clipped up, I'm beginning to wonder why I'm keeping it long.

At home I wear a headband and have it up with a ponytail. I always have a fan on and I don't like the feeling of my hair against my face. When I'm out I try to let my hair down but the hair rubbing again is starting to annoy me these days. So if I go anywhere not so windy I just leave it down. But if I'm trying to catch a bus or waiting for a bus outside, I have it up on a ponytail. I think I will try to have another hair treatment. My hair doesn't look good these days if I just leave it down. I look like a hag.

I don't like the fan or wind blowing my hair around either. If it would just stay still I wouldn't have a problem.

I have a natural curly hair, I always have my hair in pony tail because it always get into my face. And sometimes, when wind blows my hair, I dont comb it and just let it be, and no one notices that I didnt comb it when the wind blows because it is curly. And I always have fun with my hair, it curls averyday like like hair of Goldilocks, and people thinks I style it, but actually, I dont. It just curls like that way.

I mostly wear down these days. I have a lot of hair, long hair, and so I just let it all hang down.

I wear my hear up in a pony tail all the time. i have for years. i think it looks good down only if it is still kind of wet because then it hangs nice and together and looks silky and smooth. but then it dries and it gets all puffy. i'd like to change my hair style but i'm not sure yet what i would change it to. a pony tail is so much easier.

I always keep it free, I don't like ponytails or anything, they make me look and feel stupid. And about cutting it, I wouldn't do it even for, let's say, $5,000. And I'm a man :)

Well for me it's actually been quite easy. For a couple of years now I have been going around with a shorter style. I actually have my husband cut it from time to time. It's easier to manage and feels better in the summer. I just like to wear it short now. I think it can be short and still be stylish.

When i am home i usually wear my hair on top of my head i look like pebbles from the flinstones. When i am at work i wear my hair in a pony tail because i cant stand it in my face. When i go out i wear it down or with a poof on my head.
