i have a friend and his name is brian and he was talking to me today and he was talking about things with him and his girlfriend and he wants some advice but i don't really know what to say so i thought i d get all of your opinions on this...him and his girlfriend have always had a rocky relationship(with fighting and such)and for the past few weeks he hasn't felt that close to her and says that he doesn't really feel that important to her(they've been together for five months)because he wants some alone time with her and everytime he tries her sisters or brothers are there and when they can have some privacy her cousins always around or shes gone...and she would rather go do other stuff than spend time with him...and they've almost broken up before and he's kind of afraid to say anything because he's afraid that she will break up with him...and everytime he tries to say something to her she flys off the handle at him and it turns into an argument...so what do you think should be done?

Like the old saying goes, it takes 2 to tango... He shouldn't be in a relationship for the sake of being in a relationship... It can be hard but I think the problem has to be addressed by both... If he brings it up & she really cares about him and/or the relationship, she should be willing to work it out... If not, then he shouldn't be in a relationship with someone who doesn't really care for him or the relationship... I've heard somewhere that if a "friend" borrows $20 bucks & never talks to you again, it was probably worth $20 bucks to get rid of people like that out of your life... Longer he drags it out, harder it's going to be on him...

i agree that she should try and work it out and if she doesn't care that they should just break up, but that is a lot easier said than done...thanks for reading my discussion!

Hi there 'j' This is a very, very unhealthy relationhip. They are clearly better of without each other. She doesn't seem to want to spend time with him so why is she with him? Why does he allow her to treat him like that? I say to him, move on, I know he loves her but time is a great healer and he will find someone more deserving of his effection and time!!
