I've been writing for AC for a few years. Try writing one of their Calls for Content. They list the payment terms up front and it can give you some experience. The editors will email you if your article needs revisions. Best of luck!

I recently saw some tips from AC that said that travel is one of their most popular categories, and they also like "how to" articles. They pretty much aren't accepting movie reviews for upfront payment any more, unless you get to go to a sneak preview.

Congrats on joining. My recommendations are to check grammar and spelling, be careful about links in the article - i had them tell me it was "too promotional" and if you do quote someone make sure to indicate where you got it from. I joined about a week or two ago so I don't have many tips someone with more time there would. If you like...we can exchange CP pages.

Hi Bd200789! I have heard good things about associated Content and have been meaning to join in that site too. However, I still can't keep my thoughts straight on what to write about. I have a lot of ideas on mind but I can't really focus on one subject at the moment. I don't have any tips for you right now but only good wishes in hoping that you will do well there my friend.
