When people respond to discussions you start, do you automatically rate them....

I don't rate every comment made to a discussion I have started. I probably should since they took the time to answer me I do normally rate other peoples discussions though if I am answering it

I honestly forget about the rating button. Now I feel bad. If I really like the discussion I'll remember to give a rating. Yeah the obnoxious stuff doesn't even register with me so I just ignore most of those posts.

Oh, yes, I automatically give them a positive rating, too, even if I don't like the topic or disagree with them. If they are abusing the rules, then I might mark them negative. I generally don't rate obnoxious people if they contribute something to the conversation and are not cussing or calling people names. I think everyone has a right to say what they want on any subject. If I really don't like the subject or the person writing it, I ignore the post.

hi fineartist yes I do give everyone a positive' unless they said something totally obnoxious then I would hit the negative key but this seldom happens thank goodness for that.,I love to rate people positive and mylot asks that we do so more than we have been doing. it offsets any negatives and according to mylot it helps everybody on mylot so I do it all the time.
