Recently, I spilled a bit of my fiance's drink on our laptop, but it's all good. I got a towel and dried the laptop and it took a few days for it to, but it's working good again. We went to goodwill today and got a keyboard, and we had gotten a connector port for the keyboard and mouse from my uncle, but when we got home the keyboard for the laptop was working again. It's funny though as a few of the keys were stuck, so we plugged in the keyboard for the desktop computer that belongs to his parents, and it wouldn't recognize the laptop keyboard, but when we got the keyboard from goodwill it wouldn't recognize it but recognized the laptop keyboard which is working just fine! Has anything like this happened to you? I hope and would greatly appreciate all responses here to be serious! I hope you have a wonderfully lovely day.

Yeah I remember the drink spilling on the laptop, even though there was not that much drink in my cup,and I am glad that it is up and working again, cause I remember we spent several hours trying to fix it,and yeah we went to Good Will and bought a keyboard, and while we were at your grandparents house, your uncle gave us a connector for the keyboard and mouse, and it was pretty weird because when we hooked up the keyboard I am using it would not register the laptops keyboard, but when we hooked up the connector and the mouse, and keyboard we bought, instead of registering the keyboard we bought it registered the laptops keyboard,I think that it,took that long for the drink to dry,and that since we had been going between hooking up the mouse and keyboard it confused the computers internal memory, and that with the connector the computer realized what we wanted and made the laptop keyboard work, and at least we have an extra keyboard just incase it the laptop keyboard ever stops working again ,or incase something happens to this keyboard,I love you.

I love my laptop and i would feel terrible if something happened to it. I havent spilled any liquid on it to the best of my knowledge. I have however knocked it onto the floor several times. I think I did some damage but I took it to a local computer whiz and he got it back working pretty well. I think whatever happened has corrected itself becasue it hasnt crashed for awhile. Sometimes my keys stick but I dont think that's related.

I know that I would feel terrible as well if it weren't for the fact that the laptop was from an old friend who didn't tell me that the OS on the system wasn't legal and when I went to update it, it tells me I need to get a new Operating System. My fiance and I are getting another laptop , so it doesn't bother me to much. I just see it as her being the way she is, and I'm not minding very much if the laptop wants to act up! I am glad that you got yours in working order, again though! I hope you have a very wonderfully lovely day.
