Is your tap water warm during the summer? Today we had plenty of chilled water in the refrigerator. Never realized how refreshing really cold water could be until I had some on a really hot day. By comparison, our tap water tastes warm and bland. Never liked tap water anyway.

I live in the country and so we have well water. We love the taste of well water for it hasn't gone through all the crap that city water has to be put through. However we do have to use a water purifier and salt for iron for there's too much and when the salt is low, we can tell by the difference in taste. Bla! lol Anyway, our water is cold all year around however sometimes I like luke warm water because it absorbs into the body much quicker which is better for the body than cold because most of the cold water goes to the bladder and doing no good for the body.

We have well water here so it's always pretty cool even on the hottest days. I really like to drink it. What i dont like is if you have a bottle of water sitting in the car and it gets heated by the sun and it is really warm almost hot when you go to drink it. That is not alot of fun.

My water has to be ice cold for me to drink it. I normally fill a glass up to the top with ice and then top it off with water or I will throw a bottle of water in the freezer. I like all of my drinks really cold.

No, absolutely not, it tastes vile if it is warm. I like to have a bottle of water in the fridge, from the tap but I will fill a bottle and put in fridge and if I run out I will run the tap until the water is cold or place some ice from the freezer into it. Cold refreshing, warm yuk. Ellie :D

I never like to drink our tap water. The smell of chlorine is very strong and the taste of water is horrible. I have bought water dispenser for drinking cold and hot water. I have to buy the water from the supplier. It is called RO water.

Ewwww...No, I don't like drinking warm water. I have a filter on my kitchen sink and if I run it long enough it gets cold. But I run it into a pitcher and keep it in the refrigerator, so it gets really cold!!

Ours isn't really all that warm, but it isn't all that far away from it. If I let it run long enough, it does tend to cool off a bit.

We have a water container that makes our water hot and cold so I don't have to drink warm water all the time. Most of the time I drink lukewarm water though. Too much cold water is bad for digestion and my metabolism I heard. Warm water, on the other hand, is a lot better but not so bearable especially in this kind of weather. So I'll go in the middle and drink lukewarm water. :)

I think tap water's temperature depends on how you adjust the faucet, right? I've actually read somewhere that tap water is healthy for you because it has minerals that filtered water doesn't! Since I'm a performer, I naturally tend to drink warm water always but I definitely understand the refreshing feeling that cold water can have on hot day!

Warm water is not very satisfying. It might satisfy the body but not the mind. The colder the water the more refreshing it seems.

Elliott will usually only drink warm water. We have a water cooler, because our tap water here has too many chemicals in it. It's yellow when it comes out of the faucet, even after going through one of those big expensive filters for the whole house. It's drinkable once it goes through a third filter, but we still don't drink it very often. I usually still only use it for cooking. Anyway, Elliott always fills up his cup from the side of the water cooler, where it's just room temperature. Sometimes I will take a drink if he brings me a cup, but usually I drink from the cooled side. I'm not too fond of warm water.

If the sun has been resting on the pipe then our tap water can feel hot enough to hurt! If you run it for a moment so that you get the stuff up fron underground it's OK, but water has never been something I've enjoyed drinking. I just don't like it. Occassionally I'll buy a bottle of water to go with a meal if we're eating out, but I very very rarely drink it at home. I stopped buying juice etc a little while ago during an economy drive with the idea that we would drink water instead. I just drink tea instead!
