why kids are so cute?

So sweet, How cute,very chubby, cuddly, etc..are the words which comes out of your mouth whenever you see a kid. Irrespective of caste,color, religion everyone is fascinated by the innocence of the babies and end up talking to them.But as they grow they all turn out so differently, some beautiful, few more beautiful, some less beautiful.I just don't understand how? Do you?
