http://www.free-itebooks.com/free-ebooks-linux-unix-bsd/ you can find some good ebooks at this website. the best thing would be to install linux on a separate partition or computer, and start experimenting with it, i believe it is the best way to learn it.

my hubby would suggest O'Reilly Books. He doesn't know if you can find it online. But they do it all from Apache to PErl.

i write program in linux,so i always go to the website(www.kernel.org). in it you can look for the lastest information of linux. i wish i can help you
