Yeah sometimes I do watch people if I am bored or if they are doing something weird or interesting. I try not to make it a habit because it is bad manners and I dont even like people watching me but sometimes I cant help it.

Hi krayzieetam, I watch people all the time because I lived in the big cities all my life and I've learn street smarts. You have to so you can be alert. And you will be surprise what you see. You can help or save someone or yourself.

Hi shiloh, I do with out knowing that I'm doing it. I've been that way all my life even as a child. Watching people's body language can help you read people. My husband many times asks me how I knew he wanted something or what he was thinking? Of course, I don't tell him. I just watch his body language. You can read people and know about them in just watching them.

I find it very interesting watching people. Now I am not going to stare at them and if I see something interesting and feel the need to stare, then I will do it in a matter in which they can't tell. You're right, there are times when you can't help it. Let me tell you an incident that support my opinion: One evening me and my sweetie went to a local bar called the Bungalow. It's a nicely lit place with a wonderful atmosphere. However there are times when you will have your occassional wierdos and such. Well, while we were sitting, there was this woman who came in with the shortest skirt in the world but that wasn't the problem. The problem is that she had no panties on and you can see her butt cheeks. I mean, everyone was staring: my man, me, and the others because we just couldn't believe it.

Very often I get a little carried away watching people go about their daily business, but it becomes a habit, and if you are at a train station or waiting for a txi or a bus then it gets hard not to notice what all of the others waiting are doing!I have to be very careful as im easily carried away by watching them,im sure that there are soe of the that must think that im a private investigator.

Hey ella1bella, I'm not an investigator, but I was around security officers and learned what to look for in people's body language. So for safety reason for myself or others I find myself always being extra alert in public.

Yes, I would have to admit, though I'd like to call it "observing" LOL. I guess it's just my personality. I'm a phlegmatic, and I do it without really thinking about it. Like for example I would see kids and I would look at them and imagine their appearance as grown ups. I don't really stare or gawk at them though LOL, that would be really rude. It's more like I would look at them and then go "hmmmm, I bet he would like this when he's older."

We're the opposites. I try to imagine what older adults look like when they were younger.

Okay, I observe people. It's hard to let go of that "habit" because most of my researches in school are based on observing people and their actions. I can't help but be aware of what kind of people are around me and what they're doing. I know it could be bad manners to do so but it's interesting when you sit there and look at people do things when they think no one's looking at them.

kenchiprincess, I enjoy watching people. That's how you learn about them and yourself. You can also learn how to do things, what decisions to make by how others do in their decisions. It can be a great help to you in not making the same mistakes. People are very interesting creatures.

Hi kenchiprincess, I can't help myself in watching people. And I know that it is bad manners to stare, but you can do it without making it obvious and making them feel uncomfortable. But in today's busy world and so many people doing crazy things you have to be alert.
