Bonnie Kathleen Blair(born March 18, 1964 in Cornwall, New York)is a retired American speedskater.One of the top female skaters of her time, she have a good old saying: (Wining doesn't always mean being first, winning means you're doing better than you've done before). What do you think about that?

Well said! I never was a competative person agains others, but if I could beat my own record, or just do my est, that's all hat mattered to me.

She sounds like a very bright woman with a lot of good sense which is why she was one of the top skaters of her time if you ask me,and that saying makes a lot of since, winning does not always mean being first,winning means doing better than you have done before,because if you always come in first it does not mean anything,but if you strive and do better than you thought you could,then you will always be a winner, thanks for sharing this with us.
