Do you believe in God?

If you do believe in God are you able to tell others in such a way so as they can understand why you do? Also if you do not does it always make you angry if someone tries to tell you about their faith? Do you believe that those who believe in one God and only one God should be quiet, or do you try to understand why that someone who trully believes in one God will try to tell others about this one God that they believe to be the one true most powerful God. Lastly why do so many people all over the world believe in a God or even many gods is there is not really a God. What would make so many people believe and even be willing to die for that, if there is really no hope of a life beyond this one? Just wondering how you explain your faith to others or you lack of faith, or how you feel when someone tries to share with you their faith (in a peaceable way, not in a mean or hateful way)

i believe with my whole heart and mind that there is a God. the miracles that happened to me only makes my beliefs stronger. i dont know how i explain to people about the christian God. i think it depends on every person individually. when someone explains their faith, i listen and consider what they believe. its not easy to convert someone.

another problem with christianity, is that theres so many branches in it. you wont find i.e. a baptist becoming a roman catholic. and yet they have the same bible.

Well there is a little bit of a difference the catholic bible has books in it that are not in the bible that the babtist use, there is enough differences between the baptist and catholic so that they do not get along doctrinally.

Your right it is not easy to trully convert someone, it is very hard to especially if they already have their own beliefs that are very much different. or if they have seen people calling themselves Christian who are behaving in an unchristian manner, they may decide that all people who call themselves christians are the same when that is not true.

I do believe in God. I do not try to press my faith in God on others. They can see by things that I do or say that I believe in the one true God. I do not preach to others. I feel that preaching to others might actually turn them off. I would rather they see that I am at peace and that I do not worry about dying, for when my Father calls me home I will be in a better place. I'm not saying that those who believe in God should be quiet, but should live their faith. Let others see that you can turn your troubles to the Lord and he will guide you. Be a friend to all, helping others in any way you can. Peace be to all!

I agree with what you have said here mostly except sometimes I believe you shoudl try to tell others if you have the opportunity to do so, provided you do so in a kind way, because preaching should be done by the preacher, but we can witness through our words and actions. And it is important I believe to be able to witness for Christ in such a way as to make or cause others to know what the hope we have is, so that we have better opportunity to tell others so they can also get saved. I do think that sometimes we should be quiet if we are not living as we should because if we tell others we are Christian and are not behaving asa Christian should then we hurt the cause of Christ because the person who just saw us not acting in a Christ like manner may be seeing for the first time someone who is calling themselves a Christian, and mistakenly believe that all Christians behave as they saw us behaving when we were not behaving as we should of been. It is very impportant for a christian to remember they should like as close to the example that Christ left us as possible because we may be the only Christ someone else see's.
