Ever since Tha Carter 2 Lil Wayne has been saying he is the best rapper alive. In fact he even went so far as to include a track on called Best Rapper Alive. Personally I think he is far and away the best rapper alive and the proof is in his lyrics. Dedication 2, Drought 3, Drought 4, Drought 5, Tha Carter 3: all unbelievable. Dedication 2 and Drought 3 will go down as two of the greatest mixtapes of all time. His metaphors and punchlines set him apart and the beats are always crazy. So, is Lil Wayne the best rapper alive, yes, no, or the best rapper ever? If he isn't the best rapper alive, who is the best rapper? In my opinion, its Weezy aka Lil Wayne.

Yes his rhymes r good but not dat good... in fact according 2 me he's in d rap game only cause of his father birdman a.k.a. baby... if it wasent 4 him n his crew cash money, he wouldnt've even been gettin any deals i bet... no offence but he surely is not d best rapper alive. if he was den wat bout rappers who r betta dan him like eminem, chamillionaire, young buck, etc.? if u ask me i'ld say young buck's rhymes is d dopest. i wouldnt give him any "best rapper alive" title but according 2 me he's d most gangstaeous rapper alive. he even took over fitty n now sells more dan him both albumns n mixtapes included. he raps rite frm d heart n even a kid could listen 2 his rhymes n tell dat he's frm d ghetto...

Weezy is the best rapper alive hands down. He has the greatest freestyles that any rapper has brought to the game. Nothin on me from the Carter III is the best song i have heard so far and is definitely a blue flame.
