Wolves

Night before last a wolf came to my back door. I have my trash can there. I think since it's so hot and the majority of the creeks have dried up they are looking for anything.My son and his daughter were leaving last night and you could hear them howling.I'm keeping my babies(dachshunds) in the house for sure.Growing up we had a wolf pup for a pet and he was the best.These are wild animals so I'm going to be careful.

wow, wolves : o My fav animal is a wolf :P. you should keep Dachshunds in house, never know what the wolf will do to it. I wish i had a wolf pup as a pet -_-'. I live where wolves are not at so Im safe, you should be careful then especially at night :).

Growing up with a wolf as a pet was great. He was so well trained. We didn't have a fenced yard but he never strayed from the property.He would walk around the edges as if there was a fence.This week-end I'm doing something I never thought I would and that's getting a tattoo of a wolf.I've wanted to do this for the past ten years so I'm doing it!! It's always been a wolf I wanted too.

oh you need to put a pic up cool!! My fella has a wolf tatoo on his arm with my name under it (it looks more like my pooch though)

Can you give me a wolf pup when you have breed it? Having wolves is fantastic! We have yoda here (husky crossed with wolf) his right eye is blue while the other one is red. I don't really know how they have bred yoda, but his temperament is like of a pet dog.

The kids think my dog looks like a wolf but i don't think he does

Geeze, I wouldn't sleep at night if I knew there were wolves outside my back door. I would be totally freaked out! Is this a common happening and are they at your door all year or just certain seasons?
We have a dachshund and he is an absolutely wonderful pet. So committed to their master(s). Our little Cody gets along with the cat and other dogs. He just marches to the tune of his own drummer, so to speak. Very easy going dog. He was difficult to housebreak when we first got him. I would have another one in a heartbeat. He's a mini so he's not the long, stretchy dog.

It is a little odd that they come up to the house but as I said no rain and it's hot. So they are like any other creature looking for something to eat and drink.As long as I keep my babies in and just look before I go out it will be ok

OMG i am so envious i absolutely love wolves, i watch every documentary there is on one i have towels calenders, postcards anything i can get hold of. I hope to go to Yellowstone park one day and see some real live ones.
