Around 3 days back my computer had gone off the skies because of the voltage fluctuation........ and from that day I have gone mad, I don't know how I am still living? Now my mom is saying that she will not get it fixed because my exams are coming........... I am getting mad. How many are also addicted to computers in such a way?

I feel very lost when I cannot use my computer, but if you are still in school your studies need to come first.

My husband and I both depend on our computers for business reasons. In the past year, we have both had major computer problems, and at one point both at the same time, and the only computer we had to use was an old one I had that was about 12 years old. What a piece of crap that was. Now we both have brand new computers, and they're working just great!!

It's a big part of my life--it's my entertainment, my library, it helps supplement my income. But I could do without it, there's plenty to keep me occupied! Study for your exams, make the best grades you can and she will be more willing to be lenient. She's only looking out for your best interests because she loves you. Be patient with her, cooperate and you'll get a lot farther than arguing. I'm a mother, I know these things!
