Brush your hair, teeth and put make-up on, crawl back into bed so your new man, husband do not really know we DO look like the Crypt Keeper in the morning, and IF you don't do this.. did you, and if you did do you still do this now... of has that worn off?

Not me! LOL! I jump out when I wake up, put out the digs, take a two minute shower and wash my hair and toss on jeans and a t--short and do my launfry. etc..! I live a simple life. he loves me the way I am..take it or leave it? but I am ME and I am not going to pretend to be someone else or look like I don't for any guy. (Ben married 25 years..it must be working?)

That is silly, did your husband marry make up or you?? You are who you are. So this tells me he has never seen you without make up. I am saying you, not sure if you are referring to yourself, but my you is a general expession to everyone. I have never done this, and would never think of doing it. My husband should have sense enough to know that I can not wake up from a night's sleeping looking like I just did before I went to bed. Then again, you should wash the makeup off of your face before you go to bed anyway. To each their own, there are a lot of vain women, they need to relax and just be natural.

I must admit, I did do this... now I do not, and I notice that it really was not necessary, I do wake up hair all a mess, lookin' like the Crypt Keeper, but he doesn't care, I care, maybe I am vain.. not sure, I just like to look "pretty" ya know?

Oh my gosh!! NO way!! He can take me the way I am or not take me at all! I don't wear that much makeup anyway and to get out of bed to put it on just so he can see me...ugh... no way!!! If I have to smell his morning breath, he has to smell mine too.. LOL.. I would like to think that I am more comfortable in my relationship with my husband than that.

LOL that's funny! Morning breath I mean. So many people still do this. I know my sister does this HOLY carp, she won't let ANYONE see her without makeup on, till this day!

No, I like to sleep too much. I have never woken up early in an attempt to awaken before my man does just to look a little better. If he doesn't love me the way I am, that's just too bad. I am not getting up early just to brush my hair and teeth and put make up on or whatever. (And, YES!, I DO look like Crypt Keeper in the morning -- but I have to make sure my men are brave enough to stay with me, it's a good test!!)

It's so interesting reading all these responses! I am glad read "Heck No, get outta here, not me pal!" It nice to see so many people being in a relationship where they are comfortable when so many are not! Kudos!

I think your posting is quite funny! It is a good question however. There was a time a long time ago when I used to actually do all that stuff like fixing my hair, brushing my teeth or gargling with mouth wash. Also getting somewhat cleaned up. I would appear as some kind of beauty queen in the morning to my then boyfriend who is now my husband of almost four years. Yes, that kind of thing has since wore off. That is not to mean that I don't try to look my best sometimes. I do have pride in myself still.
