Do you add peper to your food? Some people claim that it causes digestion problem,i know that Africans and Asians do eat it a lot,but do you think too much of it in your food could cause damage rather than making you strong as some people claim?

I add a little pepper and some salt if needed, but im not overly fond of too much pepper,I much prefer the ground peppercorns that you grind yourself to the already ground pepper in the cannisters. But I do like the red peppers and the green peppers that we may eat with a salad, they are lovely, fresh and crunchy and very refreshing to eat, they are good in curries and many other hot dishes too.

I add black pepper to everything, just to taste. I like hot foods so I will use red pepper, that is cayenne pepper, to some dishes. I don't think that pepper makes you strong nor do I believe black pepper gives you digestive problems. The red pepper on the other hand, could cause some problems if eaten/used in excess.

Indigestion for one. It would be the same as eating, to excess, jalapeno peppers.

I think overdoing anything including pepper is probably not good. I'm sure pepper is safe if used in moderation. I really enjoy pepper and spend quite a bit of time properly peppering my food. I like ground pepper on vegetables, poptatoes eggs. and all sorts of things. I do not do it excessively though and only add it to food that is fairly bland.

hi alpha7 yes Iadd pepper to my food, just enough to'season it properly . I grind my own pepper so its nice and coarse and flavorful. I dont think anyone should use too much of most any food item as moderation is the key to good health. I really think that p epper as something that makes you strong is a big fat myth.

I use it often but only add a little to the dishes. I know that it can stimulate the stomach and course digestion disease. In south China eat it a lot because of the moist climate. When i traveled to south China, i also eat a lot. environment can change people's eating habit.

I don't really agree with you, environment doesn't change your diet, though it might be more expensive to have what you used to eat if you change your environment.
