I'm so embarrassed!

Just now, I was trying to post a comment on a friend's
photo and when I hit the "post comment" key nothing happened.
So I pressed it again. And still nothing.
When the page finally loaded, the comment had been posted ten times.
And then I posted an apology to the friend so she would know I didn't
do it on purpose. And even though I clicked the post comment button
only once, it still posted five copies of my apology.
How crazy is that!
I'm so embarrassed.
Just wanted to let all my friends know that my computer/Internet connection
is weird today.
So if I show up at your discussion and make a comment,
but leave five or ten comments
that look the same, please just look the other way.
Cause I'm not doing it to be offfensive.
I know that many people get angry when they see a person
posting duplicate discussions or comments and they call them out
as if it was done on purpose. But I didn't do it on purpose.
Was just an accident.
It's just a glitch on Mylots part.
Could happen to anyone. But I did want to explain things.

hi beauty queen it happens to everyone at times. I had it post me four times when I hit it and again I hit post response and it dumped it into the ionsphere God knows where as it did not appearon the discussion at all. so we do have glitches for sure.

Well, Hatley, I am not sure about those vanishing posts. I have had friends who post pictures and the pictures end up way somewhere else on some of their other discussions. Maybe the ones in the ionosphere will finally come down to roost somewhere here in myLot.

Well I don't know if this was mylot or me, I'm still rather corn-fused over this. But earlier today I wanted to post a post under People, so I thought I did, but it came out under mylot 
I don't understand how that happened. Either way, them or me, it's still embarrassing.

No I have not experienced any glitches so far on mylot. But dont be to embarrassed about it. Glitches will happen from time to time.

You're not the first person this has happened to, & you're not the last either. The first time I saw something like this, the first responder responded with the exact same response to someone's discussion ten times, meaning that the entire first page was the same response from the same person. I'm sure that there have been instances before that, too.
Quite often, I have seen it happen where the exact same response gets posted twice. I usually go to the second time it was posted, & leave a comment saying something like, "Yeah, this was inportant enough that it needs to be said twice."
I'm sure this won't be the last time this happens either. Don't feel bad. Just laugh with us.

If I try to post something, and I do not know for sure it went through, I go check the profile of that person and check the discussion. That is because similar things have happened to me. Most of us can either sympathize with you or laugh about it.

Why should you be ebarassed ecause of a computer glitch that was not of your doing? I don't have time to be embarassed by stuff like that. Thank you for explaining though. I'll watch out for that, and if it happes to me, I will know that I am not alone/

Until now, I am still experiencing some glitches here though they don't really bother me too much. Whenever I check my e-mail notifications, the same avatar will appear for all the friends that I have. One time, I received a response for my 6 months old discussion and when I checked the particular discussion, I found out I have few responses that I didn't even know. The last response that I read, looked too familiar and I felt like I did leave a comment for him/her but there's nothing there. Maybe it's just a glitch too.

Chill out friend, it happens all the time. We do wonder how it happened and all, but Im sure all mylotters know of this and know it is some technical problem and not done on purpose. Happy mylotting.

It's not your fault. Sometimes it's hard to decipher where the glitch is coming from. Sometimes it seems like your computer is the issue and other's it seems like a fault from Mylot. As long as you let others know on that discussion there should be any uproar on spamming or whatever. You gave your heads up, so to speak. The only thing I would consider a glitch is the fact that I get logged out sometimes in the middle of posting. When did that start? Oh right, after the big update was made...

Hey don't feel embarrased for it happens to the best of us. I think I would honestly rather that happen to me than typeing out a discussion hitting the post button and it claiming that I am not logged in and have to resign back into mylot and hope to god my discussion is still there. Sometimes it is but other times it's not. I am glad you posted this though lol just so we all know. Good luck to you and may it not keep happening to you.

Well, if your friend is somehow aware of things like glitches, he/she may not be offended as long as you will make an apology. The funny thing was you posted the apology five times as well... har har har

That has happened to me once. As long as you have apologized and made your point clear, it shouldn't be a problem.
Another glitch: I wasn't online at all the day before and my earnings went up by 12 cents! No referrals either..

Oh it happens to the best of us beautyqueen so don't feel bad. You acknowledged it and apologized so I wouldn't worry about it. Just laugh it off for it's much easier to deal with things like that rather than being embarassed. Just laugh! It'll make you feel better!! LOL

the only glitch that I have is not getting notified when my friends start a discussion and that has been going on for along time now,nearly since i started here. You have a great night and I hope your glitch gets taken care of quicker than mine has.

Im sure your friend will understand, i havent had anything weird happen on here yet but only been on a few weeks so im sure it will happen in due time..lol
