Blackburn confirm Spurs talks over Bentley

Tottenham have opened transfer talks with Blackburn Rovers for winger David Bentley, it has been confirmed. But chairman John Williams has told BBC Radio Lancashire the club have yet to accept a bid for the England winger. Blackburn have already rejected bids from Tottenham and Aston Villa for Bentley who is expected to cost buying clubs in the region of £17m.
