Oh no! How can we leave the office now, the rain has not stop and we can see from our windows that the flood has reach up to waist level. The traffic is at standstill. The rain has already ceased but the flood has not subsided. We are all asking each other, it's already almost 7:00 PM and can't leave for home. What shall we do? Well, I'm still enjoying mylot while waiting for the flood to subside but how about it it does not. Shall we just sleep in the office? What do you think? We don't have clothes to change. How miserable!

wt?! thats horrible.. ill make a guess, your working in manila, am i right? can you imagine, it just rained for about an hour but look at the output, the flood almost reached up to waist.. this is the problem of pinoys that gloria must give a solution, she made a SONA last monday, but i have heard that she's proud that text messages decreased by 50%. she must focus on the problem just like this, we have too many problems here in the philippines but where is she? enjoying people's money.. anywayz, back to your topic, it's so sad to hear that your area reached flood.. you better stay in your office & wait for the flood to subside, im sure it will subside soon.. just take care, coz i know when you go out in your office the floor & the road is slippery.. goodluck ^_^

Yes my dear jinxky, your guess is right! And you are very right our President gave was proud of the 50 per text. My goodness it is so petty! There are bigger problems to solve more than those text rate. I agree with you 100 percent. And thank you very much for your advice. My office mates are now enjoying the noodles they cooked. But how about me, I am not eating noodles!!!

How sad madame, Here in baguio the rain hasn't stop yet, and the wind is so strong. Hope you'll get home safe. If you can't get home, just stay at your office, don't mind that you haven't changed your clothes because its not only you haven't changed, just don't mind the smell of your co-employees God Bless.

I wonder what happened to your ordeal in there? Were you able to return to your homes safely? I guess that is not a problem in my place I have never seen Ortigas flooded like that deep. I also live in San Juan and it seems it does not flood there where I lived too.

Well good for you! Lots of places in Manila and Makati are both flooded last night causing a terrible traffic jam that stranded a lot of commuters. Unluckily I was one of those stranded in my office till 10 pm because I waited till the flood subsided. I could not brave the flood water because I know how dirty it is and besides what could be the use of going out seeing that the traffic was on a standstill and it is even harder to get stranded in the middle of the road. Thank God because I was able to arrive home safely but very, very late already. It was 12 midnight when I arrived home. Have a very nice day!

hi salonga, i am sorry to hear that . i think as that's almost impossible to go home, you can wait or sleep in the office. maybe you don't have clothes to change, but your friends don't either. you can leave office tomorrow when the flood subsides. well, i think we experiences many more disasters nowadays. i hear, even the area that have never got flooded was flooded. and also other disasters. i think global warming is one of the significant factors causing the disaster.

You are right, global warming is the significant factor for all these flooding and other natural calamities coming in. Yes maybe we should just decide to stay till the morning than to get stranded in the road. Thank you for caring!

oh I am very sorry salonga, did you come home very late last night? Is everything OK? how about your husband and kids? This really makes me upset because increased flood spread disease.I think climate crisis is beginning to unreveal before our eyes.We don't know how the climate change will go,and whether we ourself are on the list of endangered species..Take care,I wish the flood will subside very soon, good day and cheers..

Hi! Yes my dear, I arrived home 12 midnight coz we were able to get out of the office at almost 10:00 pm. It was really terrible. The rain just kept on pouring for an hour and all this big flood happened. I don't understand what is happening to the world. But I know we have nothing to blame but the people who continuously clog the drainage with their garbage. And the government is also not very keen in pursuing the complete flood control projects. But I really thank God that at least I arrived safe yesterday night. Have a nice day!

Hi! Thanks God! The water subsided at 10:00 in the evening so we all rushed home. Good thing, I was able to board a bus immediately and due to heavy traffic was able to reach home at 12:00 midnight. It was a terrible experience but thank God I arrived home safe. My husband and son who were patiently waiting for me were so glad to see me coming! Thanks a lot!

i remember when i was still working in manila. it was really a terrible experience walking in the waters. we can get a lot of diseases from flood waters. if i say you can't go out and need to stay in your office for the night, it's a bit annoying to work without even taking a bath. and if i am with you, i will just take the risk of walking in the waters, nevermind the germs. just have to take a good shower when you reach the house.

that is so terrible..how are you? did the water subsided? I hope you have come home safely..that is the main problem of manila.just a little amount of rain will turn the streets into pools of dirty water with trashes flowing..how come this issue cannot be resolved by our government? they are already seeing the floods but they do not do anything..they just sit back and relax in the comfort of their homes while their fellow men are worrying how to come home in that floods! so irritating really..I hope you are safely in your home now..Take care and God Bless
