I thought that a nice break in the harsh reality of this world would be to share some good old fashioned weird news stories. I always get a kick out of hearing the weirdest news of the day. So here it goes. Maybe this will help you remember the weirdest/funniest story you ever heard and then you can share it with us.

Great idea, Rozie, and thanks for giving me something to laugh about. Here's another one - an 18 year old Miami man stole a city bus, not once but twice, and he apparently had memorized the whole bus route and he didn't take any of the fare money. He got the uniform from acquaintances who were suspended from their jobs at the bus line. He has a dream of being a bus operator one day but he may have hurt his chances of getting hired somewhat!

Hi Rozie37! haha..That is weird and funny at the same time. I have heard so many funny, dumb crook stories being posted by one of the members here too and I have enjoyed reading them. However, I can't seem to remember them at the moment, I think I am starting to be forgetful nowadays. haha..

Not too long ago, I saw a story on a show, I believed the show was called, "Most Amazing Videos." Anyway, some crooks broke into a convience store and put a chain around an ATM machine that was located right next to the door. The other end of the chain was attached to a truck. Once they had everything in place, they took off, pulling the ATM machine behind them. There was a problem though, that was immediately recognized. They forgot to cover the license plate one the back of the truck. It showed just as clear on the video camera in the store. Some crooks are so stupid that you almost want to feel sorry for them, but you don't.

A 44-pound cat found lumbering around New Jersey was abandoned by a woman who said her home was foreclosed, an animal shelter official said Thursday
That cat "Powder" is as cute as a button, although it would have to be an extremely large button but cute all the same. He is one very fat cat! If I could afford to feed him, I'd adopt him myself. LOL
