I never have but have several friends that do and they get sick from it. Hubby gets it and he is always fine afterwards. My kids don't get it either, their DR tells me they don't need to get it, so I don't mess with it and they don't get sick that much. Do you get it every year?

Since my daughter was born prematurely, the dr has always recommended she get it. So, she gets it, and everyone in the household does too. Just in case. None of use get sick from it. I guess it just depends on the person, and their immune system and ability to fight off sickness.

I never get it. I have heard of too many people who have had it and got sick anyway. So, I figure why put myself through it. I hardly get sick anyway.

YOu obviously did NOT read the question. I don't understand how ppl like you actually get paid on this site. Other people try very hard and put a lot of thought, time and effort into their responses, and ppl like you are still getting paid!

I just got a flu shot 2 days ago. The company I work for offered it free to it's employees. I had a really bad headache and felt tired for a few hours, my arm kinda hurt.. but everything was fine the next day. My husband went to bring our 11 month old to get his shots, one of them was the flu shot. My husband said he's doing ok.

Kim, I just got my flu shot last week, since my doctor recommends them. I've never had any bad reactions to getting the shot. Anyone who has respiratory problems or an autoimmune disorder really needs them. It's the best way to prevent that terrible flu virus bug!
