I am trying to find a decent rpg game, offline or free-online. It doesn't have to be new. I'm also trying to find something that isn't graphics intensive.. I tried running elder scrolls oblivion but it's not running smoothly in my machine.

Adventure Quest.com is a very RPG game that has various other RPG Games associated with it in a storyline format. You train to be knights, sorcerers, book worm, vampire, werewolf, vampire slayer, mage, and etc. I haven't played it in a long time but it is a game that can get addicting!

yes i know of one, id play often.. really good RPG called silkroad. it is pure;y online game but that makes it more fun as playing with others and interacting and teaming up.. But can obviously play alone.. It is totally free to download and play after short registration.. Can find it here http://www.silkroadonline.net/ quite a big download though, but its worth it. basically its similar to other RPG games like world of warcraft and guilwars but not as graphic intensive.. create charactor and level up by killing monsters and completing quests, buying and selling and so on.. For a freebie its fantastic game

I'm playing themafiaboss(TMB) it's a good game but don't use flash player and has graohics it's only text based. There are also other like this like extememobwars, themoblife but it's difficult to get used to all at the same time I spent most of my time in TMB.

This is what you need to do: 1) Get the ZSNES Super nintento Emulator 2) Download the Final Fantasy 3/6 American Version Game 3) Play it! you can substitute step number 2 for Chrono Trigger, and my ALL time Favorite, Illusion of Gaia, or the Zelda game. These games are classics and the best games that ever existed if you ask me.

Final Fantasy 3/6 is the same game, but it's 6 in Japan and 3 in America. Illusion of Gaia and Zelda are AWESOME because of the way you FIGHT. because you actually use your sword and techniques instead of like in Chrono Trigger and FF where you choose what your attack is and everything like that. My favorite of all time is Illusion of Gaia and FFIII is a close second! I've beat both games several times and I never tire of them.

oh yeah i had an emulator before and i played chrono trigger, yeah is indeed a great game. i've heard that final fantasy 6 was arguably the best in the series, but what about final fantasy 3? I've heard about zelda but have no idea about illusion of gaia, how do they compare against Chrono Trigger?

The witcher is an awsome RPG but if you cant run oblivion then i doubt you would be able to run it. Therefore i will suggest diablo 2.

If you want a free MMORPG to play, i suggest Archlord or Shaiya. They are what I play for the most part. I'm also on FlyFF and Fiesta, but all fo these games require a download. Not sure if that waht you wanted, but they are free, they just require downloads.

The closest thing to an RPG that I have ever played on the computer is Diablo 2 which it is a pretty fun game, but you have to buy a c.d. from a store to play it,I have also heard the Runescape is a good game so you might want to try it and a friend of mine plays it a lot,I also have another friend of mine who likes the World Of Warcraft, and he said it is an awesome game, but I think for that one you might also have to buy a c.d.

The site I frequesnt often is a site that has free-to-download + free-to-play games, many of them are in beta stages but are fun to play. Many are full-length MMORPGs like Shaiya, Silkroad, 9 Dragons, etc. Check out BETAWATCHER.com

Am still fairly new to RPGs and am growing fond of them the more i play them. If your looking for a graphics based RPG that isn't too computer intesive, try RUNESCAPE. It's free online MMORPG but you can always decide whether to upgrade to a members account or not. It's not the best looking game to be honest (as its Java based) but its really fun. I tried looking for similar type games on the net but all they had were downloadable games, which i couldnt download because of my internet speed. You should definately check out RUNESCAPE.
