Hello 4aps and welcome to myLot. MyLot pays for both response and for stating a discussion. I don't know how the discussion payment are figured but that they do pay for them. The better the responses and discussions are the better the pay. After you reach 500 posts then you can start uploading pictures and get 1 cent for them too. hope this helps
