Hi to all Filipino's! Ok I made this discussion just for all of us. You can post anything here with regards your transactions to paypal. Also please include the bank code you use when you register your banks and the amount of fee that you bank deduct when you withdraw your money from paypal. Also on how long that your transaction take to reflect your withdrawal from your account. I got my money from paypal using different options. first, I use my AIG Credit card to get verified and I also make my first withdrawal using that card. I received my money in just 2 days and I wasn't chrage anything by AIG. The second was just recently, I use my BDO account the bank code was 010530667. This one is fast too I got my money in just 2 dyas but the BDO deduct 250 pesos in my transaction. It was the fee according to the bank. I also just leraned that we can withdraw our money from paypal using any debit accounts here in our country as long as we are already verified member even it has no logo of master or visa. But if we are not yet verified we have the option to be verified using debit or credit card with master or visa logo on it. How about you guys? How's your paypal transactions? Care to share? TIA

It is a nice one that I think will help to all the filipino's who still have doubt if they can get their money from paypal or not. I did verified my paypal account using my citibank credit card, before it is successful, the paypal will charge you for $1.95 into citibank credit card and you need to see the digits code on your billing then input this code into your paypal account to complete the verification process. If you have access via online to your credit card, then you can easily see the code on your billing and then input it into your paypal account, this way you don't need to wait longer for the billing. I have withdraw my paypal account using MBTC account, the 9 digits code for MBTC is 010269996, I did withdraw $16.97 and MBTC charged me for PHP 50.00, the money goes to my MBTC account after 3 days. All the best,Agihcam

Wow! MBTC charge so little. Im now planning to open an account to them so that I can withdraw my paypal money with just a small fee. I was also one of those who are not comfortable in using paypal before but when I tried the withdrawwal I find it well and paypal gain my confidence in money transactions. Thanks for putting the verification process I forgot that one. It will be a big help for our fellow filipino. Thanks again!

Thanks I am about to use my Paypal but I realized that I have my funds there at moneybookers still so I decided to add my payout there for this month and try to withdraw from there. Then maybe I will have to use my Paypal account since I find Paypal more easier for me to use.

I have been using Paypal service for some time now. I am very happy with it. Every transaction moving smoothly. I use my bank account linked to my Paypal account, deposting and withdrawing.

hi kabayan. my paypal account is already verified. one good thing for government employees is the gsis ecard that is connected to unionbank, works as a debit card too. i wouldn't wanna use my ecard with paypal, i just don't know why. but when i checked with my other bank which is landbank, no bank personnel ever gave me the bank code and they are totally blank, nothing they know about paypal. so i tried again, called up landbank's phone access. so the call center agent confirmed that landbank is not yet using paypal. and that is the reason, i have to stick with unionbank. btw, paypal says that in transferring the funds to unionbank, 50 pesos will be the service fee if the amount involved is less than 7,000. 7,000 and above will be free of charge. That was a good news if that is true or maybe it was just for the ecard that they have and not to thier eon card. Cause I have ask the unionbank here at our place if ever I will use eon to paypal they even confirmed what one of the respondents here says, that they will charge $5 for each paypal withdrawal and for withdrawing the money tru atm its Php10 per transaction. Most banks really does not know about paypal and even one of the csr of bdo and allied bank which are my friend does not even know it so I just try my luck to withdraw my money using bdo and I succeeded twice already. I just got the bank code in the net. Maybe next month I'll try my allied bank account.

hi.. i opened a debit account with UNION Bank, it's called an Eon Cyber account.. I already have several payments in my Paypal account but have not withdrawn it yet because I just found out that Union bank will charge me $5 for every transaction or for every transfer from Paypal to my bank account. To late now because I have already verified my paypal with the debit card. So, I think, Im gonna let it sit for awhile there at Paypal, maybe until it reaches a $100, so i will still have $95 to withdraw... Sad that they are charging that much converted to our currency...

Oh that was big amount. Thanks for the information now, I will surely not get my card from union bank due to its charge. I might stick with other banks. Why not link you paypal to other debit cards who charge little amount? Agicam says metrobanks has a P50 charge only. Thta what Im planning to use now.

linking your credit or debit card is just for verification purposes only. it doesn't follow that you must withdraw funds to your unionbank eon account. why not withdraw to a different bank?

From what I know you must verify your paypal using a debit or credit card with visa or master logo. Then you can link your paypal to any banks of your choice. Just make sure you contact first the CSR of your bank and ask them the bank code for paypal. Now you don't have a credit card the only thing I know for you to get verified is to get an EON card though it was not that fast to get a card cause I have waited for my eon card for almost a month now and I am now cancelling my application to them due to the high charges they have.

metrobank has maestro only..i do not know if i can make a transaction with paypal if i do not have a credit card..i have a HSBC card this is an extension of my mom's card but this card still has unpaid bills and i think i will not be able to use it too..so i think i will just give up in trying to use paypal and will just stick to my moneybookers account to receive payments here in mylot.

I am not verified at paypal too. And unfortunately I dont have credit cards and my eon card application was still on process according to that stup*d unionbank. Imagine after a month they are still processing my card? Iwas planning to cancel it already but that's the only way I can verify my account at paypal.

It's good you opened this topic.I am paypal verified by way of their credit card validation. It would be good if the address of your card is your permanent one and if possible the same with your paypal address because some transactions like those on ebay would only send to verified members. You can always add another card and choose which one is your primary. I have not posted a bank account but hearing from you guys that Metrobank is good makes me happy because I have an account there that I can use.Take note that when you add another card you will have to wait for confirmation and paypal services will be temporarily limited.Another great thing is that I receive some e-vouchers in other currency and I just send them to my paypal and get them converted there with no fees collected.I've done some online transactions using paypal and so far everything had been hassle-free.

I get the bank code of BDO at their branch where I have an account with. They say that all BDO branches have one bank code for paypal. I just don't know how did agicam gets the bank code of MBTC but according to him he already got his money from paypal using that code. You can get verified using any debit/credit card with master or visa logo. Once you link your card the paypal will give you a code. you need to enter that code to get verified.

IF you are referring to paypal you must have to open account with paypal first and then connect your bank account to paypal but your bank account must have visa or mastercard logo.
